Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre pays homage to the site’s history on the iconic Western Beach cliffs in Djilang (Geelong). For thousands of years, the Wadawurrung People have come together here to yarn, celebrate, share songs and dance, trade, make decisions, solve problems and pass on knowledge.

We positioned Nyaal Banyul with the central idea ‘Gather Round to Experience a New Perspective’, which, along with its symbolic identity, are grounded in a deep respect for the rich cultural significance of Wadawurrung Country, its people and the gifted name ‘Nyaal Banyul’, meaning ‘Open your eyes to the hills’.

The brand extends an invitation to all to see further and go deeper; discovering groundbreaking ideas, uncovering the marvels of the Bellarine region, forming new connections, and connecting to Country. Leaving, having gained a new perspective.
