Tom is a highly experienced Creative Director and brand designer with more than 15 years’ experience creating distinctive brand identities, design systems and creative platforms for organisations across Australia. His work sits at the intersection of strategy and design, translating complex business and brand challenges into clear, compelling creative ideas that people can recognise, understand and connect with. Tom has led significant identity projects including the destination brands for Victoria, Melbourne and Ballarat, alongside work across financial services, consumer goods, tourism, not-for-profit and B2B organisations. His portfolio includes organisations such as Visit Victoria, Judo Bank, Inclusion Foundation, ISLA and Natrio, demonstrating an ability to create both functional and aesthetically pleasing brands across differing audiences, categories and commercial contexts.

Tom believes great design should do far more than make an organisation look different. It should make strategy visible, strengthen trust and create distinction – giving organisations a coherent way to show up across every touch-point in competitive markets. His experience spans brand creation and rebrands, visual identity systems, digital design, campaigns, packaging and print, giving him a strong understanding of how an idea needs to work from its first expression through to the realities of everyday use. He combines creative ambition with rigorous systems thinking, building brands that are distinctive enough to be remembered, practical enough to be used and flexible enough to evolve as organisations grow and change.

Outside the studio, Tom can usually be found in the kitchen or wandering the streets – camera in-hand – capturing architecture, vintage signage and urban life.
