 In order to take control of their product, we set out with them to take a business from solely supplying a commodity to launching an independent direct-to-consumer milk brand.

 We embodied the Chesworth’s unique sense of humanity and care for quality and their cows, promising single-source milk that is, “Everything we believe in, captured in a bottle.”

 The Little Big Dairy Co. brand name was born from the way the Chesworths do business; operating as if they are small, milking, processing and bottling in the same location, despite having the third largest herd of cattle in Australia.

 We created an illustrative and personal design direction, and a brand tone of voice that is casual and vibrant, reflecting the relaxed rural attitude that’s so appealing to city dwellers.

 The Chesworth family are now in the milk marketing business. After commencing operation in mid-2013 they are producing 6,000 litres of milk per week and are stocked in stores and cafés across New South Wales.
